Aquatic training can be highly under-rated. Here at www.nzspeed.co.nz we provide a unique set of training programs that are based on the preferred levels of lactates that need to be developed for a particular athlete.
Our workouts have been trialed in conjunction with sport scientists who gathered data that shows what millimoles of lactates are accumulated by which types of workouts, based on the total time of the workout and the intensities of the speeds set to a specified rhythm. We tell you how to be accurate with the pace of that rhythm, and what type of technique must be employed in order to best address the muscle groups that are engaged in running and agility.
This is an exciting innovation in sport that allows for either speed and endurance development, or assisting with recovery, depending upon how the workouts are programmed. You only need to tell us what your requirements are for us to plan sessions accordingly for your personal specifications.
There are also sessions designed for circumstances where you may touch the bottom of the pool or not touch it, depending upon your needs. This can also be an advantage at times when the lower legs require some recovery (from training or injury) whilst concurrently developing power and/or endurance capacities.
